ISC'15

I took part in the ISC15 Student Cluster Competition as the leader of Tsinghua University team and won the champion.

This was a homebrew monitor system made by me during the contest. I was too busy to have a screenshot in the contest. monitor

Part of those collected data came from my work of reverse enginneering. I reversed engineered the Baseboard Management Controller of our Inspur Yingxin NF5280M4 2U dual-channel rack servers to obtain some non-standard data like fan speeds. Individual control of each fan was vital to reduce power dissipation and the main point of this contest was about to attain maximum performance under the power limit of 3000W.
